TUITION
A Student Registration Fee of $60 is due with the Registration Form. The Registration Fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
The Tuition Fees are due in full the first day of class. However, they may be paid in full upon enrollment or may be paid by using the following payment plan: 50% of Class Fees paid by the first class in September; the remaining 50% of Class Fees paid by the first class in January.
Marching Band Tuition Fees (and Registration Fees, for students new to Joyful Noise) are due at the sign-up period for Marching Band, usually around February 1. The payment may be sub-divided into two payments, one due by February 1 and the balance by the last regular Concert Band rehearsal date, usually mid-May. Parents who elect to do so may, of course, pay the entire Marching Band tuition at the time they register their students for Concert Band in the Fall. Other fees specific to Marching Band will also be due at the February 1 sign-up period. A separate Marching Band Registration Form must be used, and attached to the basic Joyful Noise NE Registration / Enrollment Form, and signed by the student and his parents, to correctly calculate these fees. This form must be on file for all Marching Band students before they may participate in Marching Band.
If there are special circumstances that may cause your payment to be late, please call ahead and make arrangements.
To keep the program affordable for all, families with 3 or more students enrolled in the same class will only be charged for two tuition fees for that class. A Late Fee of $10 per month will be charged for Tuition Fees not paid in full by the due date. Unpaid Tuition Fees may cause your child to be dropped from the class or prevent participation in a concert. Again, if there are special circumstances that may cause your payment to be late, please call ahead and make arrangements.
Recorder Tuition: $50 per year
Band Tuition: $120 per year
Marching Band Tution: $120
Chorus Tuition: $100 per year
CONCERT DRESS
Intermediate Orchestra, Beginner and Intermediate Bands: black pants (boys)/black pants, black dress or mid-calf black skirt(girls), white pin-pleat tuxedo shirt , Black bow tie and cummerbund, dark shoes. Girls' hair accessories should be black or white, and should be low to the head and not draw attention.
Recorder Students: White shirt, black pants/skirt, black tights, black bow tie, dark shoes. Girls' hair accessories should be black or white, as above.
We will assist you in ordering these inexpensively during the first month of classes. Our order will be placed as a group order to get better pricing and free shipping. Prices in the past have been: Tuxedo shirts - $12.95 (men's, women's, and child's sizes available) bow ties - $1.95 cummerbunds - $5.95.
